Dr. Brian P. Donahue
Dr. Donahue began his career in the Freehold Regional High School District in 1997 as a social studies teacher at Freehold High School, where he also served as head boy’s basketball coach and advised a number of clubs and activities. In 2006, Dr. Donahue moved to Freehold Township High School as the Supervisor of Extracurricular Activities. Since 2011, he has served as an assistant principal at Manalapan and Colts Neck High Schools, and in 2017 he began as principal of Colts Neck High School. Dr. Donahue received his BA in History (Secondary Education) from Salisbury University, his MA in School Leadership from Jersey City University, and his Ed.D. in Educational Leadership from Rowan University.
As principal, Dr. Donahue is responsible for supporting innovative programs that challenge our students to develop their capacity to excel in a global and rapidly evolving society. He is committed to creating a school community that combines a rigorous academic program with a robust extracurricular experience so that students can develop their full potential.
Dr. Donahue and his wife Paula have a son and a daughter and currently reside in Howell.
